Follow these steps to create you Build 267 USB Update.
Note: These instructions are for using Internet Explorer.
- Insert an empty USB drive (thumb drive) into your computer. Make sure the USB drive does not contain a Volume Label.
- A volume label is a name next to your USB drive that is NOT Removable Disk. This can be seen when opening My Compute on your Computer.
- If you need to change the volume label, right click on the drive and select, Rename. Backspace out the name there and hit Enter.
- Click on the Download button. You will get a pop up asking you if you want to Save the file.
- Click Save.
- A box is then displayed asking "Where would like to save this file".
- Press the My Computer icon on the left hand side. This will display all the drives in your computer.
- Select your USB Drive.
- Press Save. The Update will download to your USB Drive.
- After the download completes, select Run. You may have to double click on the file to start it.
- When it opens select Next at the bottom of the screen.
- On the next screen verify it is installing the update to your USB Drive (usually a letter followed by :update). If not select Browse and point it to your USB Drive.
- Select Next.
- Select Install.
- After it completes select Finish.
- Open your USB Drive from My Computer and verify it contains a folder called update. If it does, your update USB Drive is complete and is now ready to be used in your Shuffleboard.
Updating Software on Shuffleboard
These instructions are for using the USB drive to update your Super Shuffle. There is no need to shut down power to the Super Shuffle. If the machine is off, turn it on.
- Ensure it is in Attract Mode (ads will be displayed).
- Unlock the playing surface and slide it toward you. You are trying to expose the motherboard.
- Plug the USB Drive you created into the USB port on the motherboard.
- After a few minutes, the software will automatically start updating to build 267. This will take up to 5 minutes and may restart a few times in order to also update the IOB. The upload takes a few minutes to start. There is nothing wrong with the upload or the shuffleboard.
- After the update is complete it will prompt you to remove the USB drive and press Enter. The shuffleboard will restart and will be running the latest software. If the software does not restart you will need to do a manual reboot by powering off and then on the shuffleboard.
